The Theatre only currently receives grant funding from West Oxfordshire District Council and Chipping Norton Town Council. Arts Council funding was ceased in 2008/2009; grants from Cherwell and Oxfordshire were related to specific activities which have now ceased.

Our grant from WODC is currently around £25,000. Our grant from the town is £2,500. We re-apply for each every year.

We receive no other regular local authority funding but we do benefit from small grants from a few private Trusts and Foundations – and are always looking for more, as we need to raise around £200,000 in charitable funding each year to maintain activities at their current level. (Hitchcox 2014)
