23 years as an adjunct myself and I sympathize with this fellow. He certainly pulled a "I'm mad as hell and I'm not gonna take it anymore" routine, but I sympathize with him.

Having gone through 12 years of post-high school education, I would refute your statement and say that about 10% of college professors are actually competent and caring about their student's education (that costs plenty) and that about 90% of college professors are just punching a ticket. 1
