A low draft aquatic vehicle that is power-driven by a jet of water, the direction of which may be varied at will by the operator when seated at the controls of the vehicle to regulate the direction of travel thereof. A major object of the invention is to provide an aquatic vehicle that is of simple structure and relatively inexpensive to manufacture, can be fabricated from standard, commercially available materials, is safe to use in waters frequented by swimmers, and is driven by a rearwardly directed jet of water, the direction of which may be varied at the will of the operator to not only guide the craft, but to control the manner in which it planes in the water.
