Example
As teachers, we try to involve parents in assessment and we communicate to them the result of their child's assessment. As a parent, when I communicate with my children's teachers, I ask about the things that we can do at home to improve my children's learning and things that they can do to improve their own learning. I try to find out how their teachers are actually helping them maximise their achievement and their potentials. After talking to their teachers, I feel that my children like discussing the result of the discussion between me and their teachers, and this inspires me to discuss things about their assessment at school. After our discussion about the result of their assessment, I feel that they are more inspired to study, too. On this light, aside from the things I mentioned, how does parent's involvement in his/her child's assessment help in achieving quality learning? How does parental involvement contribute to improved learning? Any ideas will be greatly appreciated (^-^). Have a great day ! (Sudo, 2014)
