Check gear oil level and assure that the brake is not applied.
Assure that all valves in compressed air, operating water, feed pump safety water and bilge water lines are open.
Turn on the main circuit breaker. Verify the screen is on.
Press seperator function key on C-7 screen.
Verify the timer is set between 1800s and 3600s.
Start seperator, press ‘seperator’.
Start feed pump.
Operate key selector switch ‘FC feed pump bilge water’ to ‘manual’ position.
Adjust feed pump speed to 30Hz, push button ‘speed feed pump up or down’.
Open valves in steam supply line and condensate line.
De-activate function key on C-7 ‘discharge overboard’ ‘No’.
Wait for starting time to elapse, centrifuge to be up to speed and process temperature of 80 to 90 degrees celcius to be reached.
Start seperation, push function key on C-7 ‘Program 1’.
Adjust the discharge pressure to 3-4 bar.
Open clean water supply to oil/water monitor. Open valve in downstream of oil monitor approximately half a turn. Verify that monitor reads 0ppm. If it does not clean the cell tube.
When the monitor reads 0ppm activate function key ‘discharge Overboard’ ‘Yes’


Stop seperation, press ‘program 0’.
Close steam and condensate valve.
Stop seperator press red button ‘seperator’.
Stop feed pump, push rd button ‘feed pump’.
Close sample valve’
