If you over adapt to the culture you're trying to reach, you buy into the idols of their culture. But if you under adapt, if you look out and say, 'we're not going to change to be like that culture,' then you have actually bought in too much to the idols of the culture you're from. Everybody is in some culture...if you say, 'I'm not going to adapt to that culture', then you've over adapted to this culture, to the one you're in. [1]
