Here are some of the exciting changes we’ve made to Cite This For Me:

  1. No longer second guess where to get started. After landing on our welcoming homepage, new users will see bold blue buttons prompting you to choose a citation style (MLA format, APA, Harvard referencing, More). If you’re a returning or pro user, it will be just one button that says “Add New Reference.” Now it’s easier to get the party started and begin citing!

  1. Upon choosing a citation style, the next screen asks you to choose a source type. You’re again met with four simple options: Website, Journal, Book, and More. These large icons direct you to the next step in the citation process, so you can be confident you’re on the right track.

With the addition of simple directions and large icons, we’ve streamlined the citation process and made it easy for you to create your citations. This will save you time and energy, something we’re sure you probably appreciate!

While we’ve added these great, new updates, we’ve kept in place many of the features you already enjoy using. We still have thousands of citation styles available, around 30 source types (i.e. website, book, etc.) to choose from, the ability to create an annotated bibliography, and our handy citation guides are useful for when you need some further clarification. We still have easy export options available, and in a few clicks, you can check your research paper or project for plagiarism.

Pretty cool, right? Go check out the new and improved Cite This For Me and begin making your citations. We think you’ll agree that it’s as simple as 1, 2, 3!
