How do I format an in-text citation for a conference proceeding in APA style?

To cite a conference proceeding within your text in APA style, use the surname of the authors(s) and year of the conference in parentheses. All listed authors should be included in your in-text citation, regardless of whether or not they were present at the conference. If there are two authors, include both surnames separated by an ampersand (&) in parenthetical citations.
